About me:

My name is Tom and I was born and raised and still currently live in Sydney's upper north shore, and I currently work at Fox Sports.

I love all different types of sport, especially football (soccer). I started playing when I was around 5 years old and spend 11 years playing at Asquith Soccer Club, my local team. At 15 years old, while I was still playing, I decided to start pursuing a different aspect of the world game; as a match official. From 2017 when I started refereeing, I've shot through the ranks and was given the opportunity to referee youth NPL football here in New South Wales. In 2019 and 2020, I was given the opportunity to debut as a centre referee in the Northern Suburbs Football Association Premier League Reserves as a 16-year-old, Premier League First Grade as an 18-year-old, and also debut as a centre referee in the U16 and U18 NSW NPL competition. In September 2019, at the age of 17, I centre refereed the NSFA Premier League Reserves Grand Final, which was one of my favourite games to of officiated. I also mentor and coach young referee’s in my association which is the best feeling ever being able to give back and to help younger people as well. Refereeing has made me fall in love more with the beautiful game and I intend to continue progressing through the ranks in refereeing. Refereeing has given me some invaluable life skills that would’ve been hard for me to learn anywhere else, as well as making life long mentors and friends around Australia.

I currently work at Fox Sports in Media Services, as well as refereeing. I have a keen interest in Rovers (an affiliate of Scouts). I have many other interests including sports, IT/technology, music, and multimedia.
